We understand that our members are busy, at work, with family, enjoying the Hill Country. That’s why we’ve made bill payment easy with lots of options for your convenience. You decide which method is best for you.

Payment Methods

Pay Online

Need to make quick and easy payments? You can pay online using your SmartHub account on any desktop or mobile device (iOS and Android). Please update your contact information the next time you log in, this allows us to notify you if there is an issue with your account, a planned outage, and provide you with other important information. Pay Now (No Login Required)

Pay online using the SmartHub Pay Now feature! The Pay Now feature allows you to use a credit card or bank draft to pay your bill without logging into your SmartHub account. This is great if someone else needs to pay the bill but doesn't have login credentials.

Pay by Phone

No time to come in and visit our Member Services representatives? You can make payments through our secure, automated payment system too. Just call 866.226.3372 and follow the prompts.

Pay In Person

You can also pay in person at any of our office locations, electronic kiosk, or any place that offers Fidelity Express Payments. Click here for a list of our office locations. Third party bill pay locations do not accept credit/debit cards and may charge a processing fee and take longer to submit your payment. Please call the third party location to verify the payment methods that are accepted and how long payments take to process.

Pay By Mail

To submit a payment by mail, please include the bottom portion of your bill if you have it, and write your account number on the check/money order. Please allow time for payment to be received by the due date, and make checks payable to Bandera Electric Cooperative.

Payment Options

PrePay Billing

With PrePay, you are putting electricity in your home just like you fill the gas tank in your car, you pay for it before you use it. You can purchase small amounts every few days, or fill up the tank and not worry about it for several weeks. When your supply is low, you simply purchase more. By monitoring your consumption on a regular basis, you begin to notice patterns in your day-to-day usage and can take action to keep electrical costs down. Automatic Withdrawal

Put your account on auto-pilot. When you set up your account to automatically draft your payment, your bill will take care of itself. To sign up for automatic payments using your debit, credit, checking or savings accounts, log in to SmartHub online or on the mobile app to set it up today! Paperless Billing

BEC believes in being good stewards of the Hill Country – today and for the future. Small things, like reducing mailbox clutter, can make a big difference in helping the environment. Sign up to receive your statements online and eliminate the need for a paper bill to be mailed to you each month.
