Payment Methods

Pay Online or On-the-Go

Need to make quick and easy payments? You can pay online using your myBEC account on any desktop or mobile device (iOS and Android) using the myBEC mobile app. Actively manage your account with monthly logins and manual payment, or set it and forget it with stored payment methods and recurring automatic payments by bank draft or credit card. Pay Now Online (No Login Required)

Pay online using the myBEC Pay Now feature! The Pay Now feature allows you to use a credit card or bank draft to pay your bill without logging into your myBEC account. Simply enter your account number to view all current balances and simple payment instructions. This is great if someone else needs to pay the bill but doesn't have login credentials. Payments are applied to your account immediately.

Pay by Phone 24/7

Our secure, automated phone system is perfect for quick and easy payments anytime, any day of the week. Just call 866.226.3372 and follow the prompts.

You may also call us at 866.226.3372 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, to speak with a member services representative.

Note: If you receive an unsolicited or suspicious phone call about payment, don’t hesitate to call us at 866.226.3372, Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., to verify it.

Pay In-Person

Pay in person at your nearest BEC office location or leave your payment in the overnight drop box at any of our offices.

Pay at a Kiosk

BEC electronic paysite kiosks allow members to make a payment 24/7 by cash, e-check, or credit card. You’ll need your account number, and if you pay with cash, change will not be dispensed. You can either pay with the exact amount of cash or the difference will be credited to your next bill. Members will have to provide fiber and electric account numbers separately. Pay with Fidelity Express

Fidelity Express accepts BEC payments at participating locations. A fee may be applied for transactions for processing BEC payments. Find and visit a participating Fidelity Express location near you.

Please note that third party bill pay locations do not accept credit/debit cards and may charge a processing fee and take longer to submit your payment. Please call the third party location to verify the payment methods that are accepted and how long payments take to process.

Pay By Mail

To submit a payment by mail, please include the bottom portion of your bill if you have it, and write your account number on the check/money order. Please allow time for payment to be received by the due date, and make checks payable to Bandera Electric Cooperative.

We've recently changed bill processing locations. Payments made by mail should be sent to our new P.O. Box listed below. If you are enrolled in automatic bill pay, please update the billing address accordingly. This change took effect June 1, 2021.

Payment Options

PrePay Billing

With PrePay, you are putting electricity in your home just like you fill the gas tank in your car, you pay for it before you use it. You can purchase small amounts every few days, or fill up the tank and not worry about it for several weeks. When your supply is low, you simply purchase more. Automatic Withdrawal

Put your account on auto-pilot. When you set up your account to automatically draft your payment, your bill will take care of itself. Paperless Billing

BEC believes in being good stewards of the Hill Country – today and for the future. Small things, like reducing mailbox clutter, can make a big difference in helping the environment. Sign up to receive your statements online and eliminate the need for a paper bill to be mailed to you each month.
