VoIP Phone FAQs
Can I keep my exisiting phone number?
Yes, you can keep your existing phone number in most cases. Keeping your existing number is dependent upon service market and location. After the fiber internet is installed it generally takes around 2 weeks for phone service to be switched to our services.

In most cases yes. Traditional analog phones will work with our Residential phone service.
How do I connect to the new phone service?
There is a phone port on the back of the Gigacenter that was installed to provide your internet service. All that is required is to plug your phone into the grey port on the back labeled PHONE 1. If placement of the Gigacenter or the existing phones will not work for the above mentioned scenario, there are additional options.
A technician can come out and connect to the existing wiring. Rewiring the house for additional phone jacks may include additional charges. It is our recommendation to try and plug the phone directly into the Gigacenter to ensure the best voice quality and performance.
