Schmidt, a Hill Country native, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Having served as the Head of Fiber at BEC for seven years, he has played a pivotal role in the company's growth and success in the broadband sector. With a career spanning over two decades in the broadband industry, Schmidt has witnessed and navigated the challenges and opportunities presented by the internet boom of the late '90s, making him a seasoned and forward-thinking leader.
