Halloween in the Hill Country is always a thrilling affair, and this year was no exception as Bandera Electric Cooperative added its special touch to the festivities at Bandera's Nightmare on Maple Street. It was the place to be on Halloween night, and the community spirit was alive and well!
The Bandera Marshal's Office hosted their annual Halloween Trunk or Treat in the Bandera City Park, and it was a spooktacular event. With Costume Contests, Best Trunk Contests, Bounce Houses, Snow Cones, Face Painting, and more fun activities, it was a free, family-friendly gathering that brought the community together for a night of Halloween delight.
BEC, always one to embrace the spirit of community and fun, brought a touch of prehistoric wonder to the event with their Jurassic Park-themed display. The BEC team went all out, transforming into characters from the classic '90s movie, complete with three velociraptors and a diligent dinosaur keeper.
As the temperature dipped into the 60s, BEC warmed the hearts of those in attendance by handing out candy and hot chocolate. It was a welcome treat for the little ghouls and goblins braving the Halloween chill.
The Nightmare on Maple Street event truly captured the essence of Halloween, providing a safe and entertaining space for families to come together and celebrate. The BEC team's dedication to creating a memorable experience for the community was evident in their Jurassic Park display, which transported attendees to a world where dinosaurs roamed once more.
As the night unfolded, the park was filled with laughter, excitement, and a sense of togetherness. It's events like these that make Bandera a close-knit and vibrant community, and BEC is proud to be a part of these moments.
As we bid farewell to another Halloween, we look forward to the continued community involvement and spirited events that BEC brings to the Hill Country. Thank you for joining us in celebrating this spooky season and making it one to remember!
