One of the cooperative principles emphasizes our commitment to the communities we serve. Bandera Electric Charitable Foundation is proud to announce Operation Round Up, a program that encourages BEC members to support their communities and neighbors through donations on their monthly electric bill. Simply fill out the form below, stop by or call to participate in the program. You will have the option to round your electrical bill up to the nearest whole dollar per meter or donate a set amount. For example, if your monthly electric bill is $52.73 Bandera Electric will automatically round up to $53, with the additional 27 cents going to the Operation Round Up fund.

Get ready to stampede! Not only is the Cowboy Capital Stampede fun for runners of all skill levels, but the proceeds benefit local charities in our service area. Last year, BEC raised more than $6,000.
Bandera Electric Cooperative will host the 2017 5K/10K Cowboy Capital Stampede on October 28 at the Bandera City Park. Register to run at AthleteGuild.Com, or bring your registration to any BEC Location.
This year, we invite all 501c(3) nonprofits in our service area to complete an application to be chosen as a benefactor of the race. Deadline for application submission is September 1.

Bandera Electric has a BBQ pit that can be used for nonprofit community groups in our service area.

A complimentary, large, multi-use community room located at Bandera Electrics main office building is available for nonprofit community use. Occupancy of the facility is limited to 125 people. The community room is available on weekends and holidays. Audio visual accommodations are available.
