At Bandera Electric we take our commitment to the communities in our area seriously. We are your neighbors and we are here to help. Some of the things we do in the area include:

• Community energy and safety education presentations  (contact BEC for more information)
• BEC cooperated with others for SECO's Texas Solar for Schools Program
• BEC makes grants available for our communities through one of its wholesale suppliers
• Support Volunteer Fire Departments, area libraries and museums
• Youth Tour Program (sent area youth to Washington D.C. each year since 1984)
• Youth actives (Youth Rodeo, Soccer League, Little League, Boy’s and Girl’s Club, Etc.)
• School educational programs (contact BEC for more information)
• School Activities (Year books, Sports Calendars, Booster Clubs, ETC.)
• Support Area Libraries and Museums
• Install Advertising Banners for various groups and holiday lights
• College Scholarships - Ten are awarded annually to area students
  
• Warm Winter coat and quilt drive
• School supply drive
• Blood drives
• Several Parades
• Community Christmas toy drives for needy children
