Fiber & Wireless Maintenance
With BEC Fiber’s optional maintenance services, we maintain your fiber connection from outside of your home (or installed box) to the router inside your home.
 
BEC Fiber’s maintenance plan covers the cost of labor, materials, equipment, service calls and technician support (including sending a truck) to your home to repair or replace damaged fiber-optic cables and restore service.
 
BEC Fiber will even ensure connectivity to all of your wireless devices inside the home with support from our technicians over the phone or in person if necessary. So when your new smart devices don’t connect, or a goat chews on your fiber-optic line, support is only one call away for just $7.95 per month.
 
Wi-Fi Booster
With more and more connected devices and constant online activity in our homes, we all want to get the fastest, most reliable Wi-Fi possible. Unfortunately, in some homes, especially larger ones or those that use certain building materials, some spots can be hard to reach.

To help you with this common challenge, BEC Fiber offers Wi-Fi boosters intended to strengthen your Wi-Fi signal in those hard-to-reach locations of your home or backyard.

With our commercial-grade mesh Wi-Fi booster, you don’t have to sign in to a separate network just to use it, because your Wi-Fi password is applied automatically when you are within range of the booster. Once you’re connected to your network, there’s nothing else you need to do. You can roam freely and securely in your home with any of your devices and not have to worry about losing your connection or dealing with poor performance.
Static IP Address
A static IP address is an IP address that never changes. Not everyone needs a static IP address, but here are some example situations for when you might need a static IP address:
  • Setting up a home file server
  • Adding a second router to a network
  • Enabling access to a computer when away from home/work
  • Forwarding ports to certain devices
  • Sharing a printer over a network
  • Connecting to an IP camera when away from home

* BEC Fiber is not responsible for software or firmware upgrades to your wireless devices, but our support team may recommend updating them. BEC Fiber may recommend a WiFi booster to improve signal strength for connectivity in problem areas inside the home.
 
** Customers without BEC Fiber Wireless Maintenance service are subject to a $90/hour fee to cover all costs to re-establish either wired or wireless network connectivity deemed to be customer-related. Any problems related to the BEC Fiber network will be covered by BEC.

The following navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
