The BEC Foundation is proud to announce Out of the Way Community Corp. as the winner of the 2025 Member Choice Award!
With the largest member voting turnout to date, this year’s award highlights the strong community support for local nonprofits making a difference. Out of the Way Community Corp. is dedicated to filling gaps of need in our community—feeding over 250 children weekly and operating a 24/7 Free Store stocked with food and clothing. The $5,000 grant from the BEC Foundation will help enhance their operations and expand services to even more families in need.
Even though there was only one winner, we are so privileged to have so many amazing nonprofits in our area. We truly enjoy learning about all the great work they do to support and uplift our community.
