The Member Choice Awards are back – and this year, we’re making it even more exciting! It’s your chance to support and recognize the non-profit organizations that make a lasting impact in our community. The BEC Foundation is thrilled to announce the return of the Member Choice Awards, where YOU, our valued members, have the power to nominate and vote for a non-profit organization to receive a $5,000 donation.
Non-profits play an essential role in our community. They work tirelessly to serve those in need, support vital causes, and make a difference where it matters most. Whether they’re addressing hunger, providing educational resources, offering healthcare services, or supporting local families, these organizations are the heartbeat of our neighborhoods. Now, it’s time for us to shine a spotlight on them and give back in a big way.
Nominations: Your Chance to Give Back
We’re calling on all members to nominate the non-profit organizations that you believe are deserving of recognition and support. It’s easy – and it’s your chance to celebrate the amazing work these groups do every day. Whether it’s a small local charity or a larger organization with a wide reach, if they’re making a difference, we want to hear about them!
Nominations are open from March 3rd to March 21st. Simply submit your nomination. After the nomination phase, the top five organizations with the most nominations will move on to the voting round, which will kick off on March 31st.
Voting: The Power is in Your Hands
Once nominations close, the community will come together to decide who will take home the $5,000 prize. Starting March 31st, we’ll present the top five nominees to our membership for voting. Each organization will have the opportunity to make their case, and we encourage you to research these incredible non-profits to see who is truly making a difference in our area. Voting will remain open until April 18th.
We know the decision won’t be easy – but that’s the beauty of community! This is a celebration of all the amazing work being done, and it’s an opportunity for each of us to contribute to the future success of an organization that’s having a meaningful impact.
And the Winner is…
Once voting concludes, it’s time to announce the winner! On May 1st, we’ll reveal the organization that has earned the most votes and will receive the $5,000 donation to help fund their ongoing efforts. The winner will be celebrated in our May E-News and across our social media channels.
This is a time to come together, celebrate those who serve our community, and show appreciation for the incredible non-profits that make a real difference every day.
