This week, we're featuring Nathan, BEC Fiber's Network Operations Center Analyst Lead.
As the Network Operations Center Analyst Lead, Nathan helps oversee the day-to-day operations of BEC Fiber's Network Operations Center. He supports the team as they monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the fiber network, helping ensure subscribers stay connected. Nathan also assists with escalated technical issues, coordinates with field technicians, and works to keep the network operating efficiently and reliably.
One of Nathan's favorite parts of the job is tackling new challenges and helping others.
"My favorite part is solving the more challenging problems and helping both our members and employees. Every day brings a different challenge, so there's always something new to learn and a new puzzle to untangle."
When he's away from work, Nathan enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. Whether he's kayaking, camping, or hiking, he appreciates the opportunity to unplug, recharge, and enjoy time away from screens.
A fun fact about Nathan? He's an accomplished leatherworker and has created full leather Renaissance armor sets.
