National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes community partnerships with law enforcement and neighborhood camaraderie designed to create safe and caring places to live.
As part of the commitment to the areas we serve, Bandera Electric Cooperative (BEC) will join local law enforcement at two area National Night Out events on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
Bandera (in conjunction with the City of Bandera, Bandera County Sheriff’s Department and Bandera Boys & Girls Club)

Boerne (in conjunction with the City of Boerne and Boerne Police Department)

BEC linemen and fiber tech crews will be onsite to engage with community members about their work and the critical role they play in keeping our homes powered and lives connected. We will have giveaways and special treats, as well as a bucket truck for kids and adults to view and ask questions of our crew.
Both events are free and open to the public and will feature other exhibitors and community organizations, as well as demonstrations from other emergency personnel. Make plans to attend National Night Out at either location for an evening of fun and community building.
