Bandera Electric Cooperative was deeply honored to serve a warm meal to the dedicated crews and office staff at Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB) in heartfelt recognition of the extraordinary work they’ve done in the wake of the devastating floods that swept through the Texas Hill Country.
When disaster struck, KPUB crews mobilized without hesitation—working around the clock in challenging and often hazardous conditions to restore power and stability to their neighbors. With homes damaged, infrastructure impacted, and lives upended, their response was nothing short of heroic. Through their skill, determination, and compassion, KPUB brought light back to their community—both literally and figuratively—at a time it was needed most.
At BEC, we know firsthand how critical the role of utility workers becomes in times of crisis, and we were proud to stand in solidarity with KPUB by offering a small gesture of support: a hot meal and our deepest thanks.
