COMFORT, TX – Bandera Electric Cooperative was proud to support the annual Comfort, TX Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 4 as the 2026 Platinum Sponsor.
Kicking off on High Street, the beloved small-town parade made its way through Comfort’s Historic District as thousands of parade goers cheered on patriotic-themed floats and waved American flags.
BEC also participated in the parade with a festive float featuring BEC linemen in full gear and BEC employees tossing out goodies to eager onlookers.
"At BEC, we're more than an electric cooperative—we're neighbors. Participating in small-town events gives us the opportunity to connect with the people we serve, support local traditions, and invest in the communities that make the Texas Hill Country such a special place,” said Tracey Robledo, community relations specialist for BEC.
A unique highlight of this year’s parade was the added celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, marked by special flags and signs along the parade route.
As a member-owned cooperative, BEC is committed to providing exceptional service and innovated solutions to every member and supporting events that bring communities together.
