Bandera Electric Cooperative’s annual Board of Directors election opens on September 19, 2025 at 9 AM and will close on October 17, 2025 at noon. This year, elections will be held for Districts 7, 8, and 9. While no new candidate packets were submitted and the election will be uncontested, it remains vital for our member-owners to exercise their right to vote.
We want to remind all members that every BEC member has the right to vote in this election, regardless of the district in which they reside. Your participation helps ensure fair and representative leadership for the entire cooperative.
As a member-owned cooperative, BEC thrives on democratic participation. Your vote affirms the integrity and transparency of our governance process. Even in uncontested elections, casting your vote is a powerful way to stay engaged and invested in your co-op’s direction.
By modernizing our election process, BEC is taking another step toward cost savings, convenience, and a stronger member experience. We thank you for your continued participation in our cooperative’s democratic process.
Electronic Voting: No Paper Ballots This Year
Please note: BEC is transitioning to an electronic-only voting system this year. Ballots will not be mailed. Instead, eligible members will receive an email on September 19 with a personalized link to cast their vote. Members can also access their ballot through their myBEC SmartHub account or myBEC mobile app.

Mark your calendars for a morning of family fun at our Member Appreciation Fall Festival on Saturday, October 18, at Enchanted Springs Ranch, 242 State Hwy 46 W, Boerne, TX 78006. The event will run from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
This special celebration is exclusively for BEC members and their families. Enjoy an exciting lineup of activities including wagon rides, a petting zoo, full cowboy breakfast, pumpkin patch, BEC service booths, contractor meet-and-greets, member giveaways, prizes, and much more! 🎉
