BEC Moves to Electronic Voting for 2025 District Elections
As part of our ongoing commitment to fiscal responsibility and enhanced member service, Bandera Electric Cooperative will be transitioning to an all-electronic voting system for the upcoming 2025 Board of Directors election. This change will help reduce operational costs and allow us to better allocate resources to programs that directly benefit you—our members.
What This Means for You
Beginning with the 2025 election, paper ballots will no longer be mailed. Instead, members will receive an email with a secure link to vote online, providing a simple, safe, and efficient way to cast your vote from any device.
Electronic voting information will be available through:
- Email communications (be sure we have your current address!)
- The BEC website at BanderaElectric.com
- The SmartHub app, available for iOS and Android
