Solar Water Well Contest
Many BEC members are fortunate to live in the rural Texas Hill Country with wide open spaces and endless skies above. However, living remotely sometimes presents unique challenges. Finding access to a water source for example, often requires digging a personal water well and sometimes stringing electrical power lines for long distances.
Wind power has been used for thousands of years to lift water from wells, but wind fluctuates and is unpredictable. Today, we have a much more reliable and unlimited source of energy that comes from the sun. Solar water well pump systems are one of the best options for providing reliable electricity to ensure your family and animals have access to water.
BEC Solar has added solar water well pump systems to its lineup of renewable energy options to meet the specific needs of rural members. This system designed specifically for BEC members is a 1,300-kilowatt system and includes four batteries that have an availability of 250 amp-hours and features a 25-year lifetime solar panel warranty. This system is powered by solar power during the day and operates on batteries overnight. It can operate alongside electricity provided by the grid or utilized as a standalone, or off-grid, solution.
If you have a water well, live on a ranch or simply want to ensure you maintain access to water at all times, a solar-powered water well backup system is an excellent option.
Members have the opportunity to enter to win a solar-powered water well system valued at $21,178! Tell us how you (and/or your family) could benefit for the chance to win. Complete the form below. Contest ends June 30th. Must be a current BEC member in good standing to enter. One entry per member household/account. System does not include well drilling or construction, it is a solar-powered pump only, to be used with an existing well.
