Jeffery "Jeff" Slocum

District 3 Director

Jeff Slocum represents the members of District 3 and was appointed to the board in January 2020.

Mr. Slocum and his wife, Karen, have been Bandera Electric Cooperative members since 2012 and permanently relocated to Bandera in 2013. As a graduate of Arizona State University, Mr. Slocum received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Mr. Slocum began his career as an apprentice machinist at Caterpillar, Inc. in Aurora, IL. During his career, he worked across multiple worldwide operations in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Mr. Slocum retired as General Manager of a multi-facility operations network with Caterpillar, Inc. in 2014.

Jeff also worked at Commonwealth Edison (Chicago-area Power Provider) and Weyerhaeuser Company (multi-national forest products and served on board the Good Samaritan hospital in Dayton, OH.
