An interactive sing-a-long concert with Lloyd H. Miller featuring original songs inspired by true stories of great journeys in American history. Come prepared to sing, dance, find out some amazing things you didn’t know… and go home with a book so you can learn more! Geared especially for grades 2nd – 6th, but appropriate for all ages — even the youngest kids will enjoy this due to how physical interactive Lloyd’s shows are. Wear comfortable clothes! Even adults are expected to dance.

CHILL ON THE RIVER! . Enter the River Rodeo! This is the Cowboy Capital of the World, we have to have a rodeo! Enter the tube roping or the bronc riding. Think you can stay on 8 seconds? You haven't ridden a steed like Firestone or Goodyear. Not too good at rodeo sports? That's okay - enter the kayak races. We'll even provide the kayak! Bring Fido, we have a great water fetching contest for your dog!

Lots of children's activities, in the water or out! They can try fishing or the FRISBEE throw! Enter the watermelon eating contest or hot dog eating contest! Slide down the GIANT Slip N SLIDE, or enter the other fun riverside games!

Feast your eyes on this magnificent, patriotic display. Sponsored by the Boerne Fire Department, the fireworks show will start a little after dark and can be viewed in many places around Boerne, but the best place is Boerne City Park. Bring chairs, picnics and your American spirit!

Come out early, pick your spot, get a movie snack or two and enjoy free entertainment before each movie. This Movie in the Park showing features "Moana". Festivities begin at 7:30PM (LATER START TIME), and the movie begins at dark.

The Texas Lineman’s Rodeo was formed to offer the line workers of the State of Texas a way to showcase their skills in a family oriented, fun a nd competitive en vironment. In many cases, the Rodeo is the only way for the line worker’s family to witness first - hand what the job is all about. The Rodeo is held on the Guadalupe Blanco River Authority’s Nolte Island Park just outside of Seguin, Texas. The island is approximately 160 acres of a pristine wildlife habitat that is close to town, but with a feel of true country openness and atmosphere .
