5:00 pm - While power has been restored to most of the service territory, there are still approximately 200 members without power. These outages may continue throughout the night due to inaccessible flooded roads or complicated repairs. Please contact our Member Relations team at 866-226-3372 with any questions. We appreciate your continued patience and support during this major weather event.
4:00 pm - Power has been restored to the Leakey area. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact our Member Relations team at the phone number listed below.

7/15/26 - BEC is closely monitoring weather conditions today as heavy rains are expected to continue throughout the day and flash flooding is occurring throughout many parts of the service territory.
For your safety:
- If possible, stay home and do not attempt to drive.
- Do not travel through any low‑water crossings — even if they look passable. Water depth and current strength can be deceptive.
- Avoid all flooded roads. Turn around and choose an alternate route.
- Do not approach any downed power lines that you may see, as they may still be energized and extremely dangerous.
