BEC Community Coat Drive

When that winter wind starts to make the mercury dip here in the Texas Hill Country, you’ll need a good coat to stay warm. For some of us, however, reaching for a warm coat isn’t quite so simple. That’s when the hearts of our BEC members shine their brightest.

BEC is asking for your help this season. We will be collecting new and gently used coats to give to those in need. Designated donation boxes are set up at our office locations in Bandera, Boerne, Comfort and Leakey.
“What makes living in this part of Texas so very special is our genuine concern for community,” said Michelle Schott, BEC distribution operations specialist. “When a neighbor needs a hand people don’t ask if they can help, they just get up and help.”

How to Give:
Through Friday, November 16, 2018 donate new and gently used coats to any of our office locations. No coat is too big or too small—coats of all sizes are needed, including those for infants and smaller children. All donations will be given directly to those who need them most.
