Youth Tour Entry Information
Bandera Electric Cooperative, Inc. will award an
expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. for four students. Essay contest winners
will join other students from across Texas, also headed for the nation's
capital. This will be an unforgettable look inside the seat of government June
12-20, 2008.
Rules and eligibility requirements:
1) You must have completed your sophomore, junior, or
senior year before June 12, 2008.
2) Your parents or legal guardians must be Members of Bandera Electric
Cooperative, Inc.
3) We must have your entry into our office by 5 p.m., March 21, 2008.
4) Winners will be selected according to the originality of their essays.
5) We will notify winners no later than April 1, 2008.
6) You must submit an essay with at least 500 words on the following topic:
"Discuss
some of the recent advancements in home construction that will improve energy
efficiency in new structures."
