Telephone Circuits to BEC Fail

Bandera Electric Cooperative would like to apologize to any of its members who were unable to reach BEC by telephone on Saturday, February 25.  AT&T telephone circuits to our new Bandera office failed.

Bandera Electric Cooperative would like to apologize to any of its members who were unable to reach BEC by telephone on Saturday, February 25.

Sometime during the early morning hours, the AT&T telephone circuits to our new Bandera office failed.  BEC became aware of this problem at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.  BEC personnel immediately contacted AT&T and attempted to have all calls forwarded to other working BEC numbers, while the problem was being resolved.  However, AT&T determined that the problem was such that calls could not be forwarded.

This problem affected all telephone calls to BEC’s Bandera office, BEC’s toll free telephone number, and all telephone calls to BEC’s Comfort office, which are forwarded to BEC’s Bandera dispatcher after normal business hours.

Our thanks to a number of AT&T personnel who worked diligently with BEC to resolve this problem as soon as possible.
