BEC offers a couple of options for outdoor lights located on BEC poles.

• 100-Watt High Pressure Sodium; $6.50 per month plus purchase power cost*

• 250-Watt High Pressure Sodium; $9.25 per month plus purchase power cost*

BEC offered a few other lights in the past (these are no longer offered as new installations). If you are moving into an existing house that has an outdoor light it could be one of the following:

• Existing only - 175-watt Mercury vapor; $5.00 per month plus purchase power cost*
• Existing only - 400-watt Mercury vapor; $6.75 per month plus purchase power cost*
• Existing only - 35-watt Low Pressure sodium $3.75 per month plus purchase power cost*

* The purchase power cost changes monthly; the usage applied to each light is determined by test lights set up at the BEC office in Bandera.
