Leakey Planned Outage Tuesday Night

BEC is planning an outage that will affect about 3,500 Members served from the Leakey substation. BEC will use an automatic outbound calling system Tuesday to contact folks about the outage. The power shouldbe out no more than 90 minutes, starting about mid-night Tuesday, April 22 (technically it’ll be April 23). We will be replacing a connector on the main transmission line that pulls power off the state-wide grid. BEC wanted to get the connector replaced before it caused an unplanned outage during the hot summer months.
