Preliminary counts show that 1,300-1,500 people showed up to attend the meeting. Donald Enders, candidate district 4, Roger Swift, candidate district 5 and Kerry Sweatt, candidate district 6 were all reelected for a three year term.

Over 70 door prizes were given away, a snack was served, and a number of information stations were well visiting. There was information about solar energy, Texas Co-Op Power magazine, BEC services and energy conservation. Plus, there were health screenings for high-blood pressure and Diabetes.
