New Meter Application Forms & Information

This section is for you if you need a new meter installed that requires BEC to extend a new power line to your location. The required forms that must be completed before you come into the office (or if you and working by mail with BEC) are:

  1. Complete an Application and Agreement for Electric Service (PDF file - see note at page bottom)
  2. Complete Applicant's Service Data Sheet
  3. We will need a copy of your drivers license
  4. Provide a legal description of property where service is needed
  5. Clearly mark the location where you want the meter at the address where service is needed (BEC will provide a tag or download meter tag here)
  6. Be prepared to pay an engineering fee (Contact BEC for specific information or see the Line Extension Tariff (PDF file))
  7. Contact the Cooperative about other information you will need
