As of June 2009, BEC began aggressively exchanging its existing meters with a superior AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) system. BEC has been sending postcards, sending emails, and calling Members to notify them of this change. As we move from one area to another we begin contacting Members in the new area a few weeks before we begin.
