Payment Options

For your convenience, Bandera Electric offers multiple options when it comes to paying your electric bill.

o   Online Bill Pay - Allows you to make a payment anytime, day or night

o  Paperless Billing- Opt out of receiving a paper bill

o   Easy Pay Bank Draft 

o   Automatic Credit Card payment

o   Levelized Billing - Enables you to pay the same amount on your bill each month, making it easier for you to budget

o   Bill Pay Assistance– Certain community service agencies may be able to help if you are unable to pay your bill

o   Deferred Payment Plan – If you cannot pay your bill a special payment arrangement may be available

Billing Information

Each bill includes helpful information.  Click here to see a sample bill and explanation.  To learn more about the various charges on your bill, see "What Am I Charged And Why?" and view our current rates.
Payments can be made at any one of our business centers.  After business hours, use the night payment drop boxes.  We offer statement billing with return envelopes and multiple meters can be viewed on one summary statement.  Residential and commercial bill analysis services are available upon request.

Bills become over-due 16 days after they are mailed. 

Your bill's due date can be changed to accommodate your finances.  Click here to view the four due dates available, choose the billing cycle that best fits your needs and contact the Cooperative.
 
 
 
This option automatically drafts the amount of your electric bill from your bank account. The transaction will be processed each month on the due date of the bill.

This option automatically uses your credit card to pay your monthly electric bill. The transaction will be processed on the bill’s due date.

This program allows you to pay the same amount each month on your electric bill. The Co-op looks at the last 12 months of electricity, calculates average usage and then bills based on that average usage with a small additional charge to compensate for any changes in the usage from year to year. You must have been a member for at least 12 months prior to signing up in order to qualify and you must sign a “Level Payment Agreement.” Contact BEC if you wish to sign up.
 
If you cannot pay a current bill, a deferred payment arrangement may be available. These are handled on a case by case basis. Call for more information.
